Was at it again....

yep, yep.  I was at it again.  ahhh.. the quilling, I mean.

Today is Anita's birthday. I have written about her many times in my blog before and truly consider her a blessing.

Quilled this card for her, which took a little over 2 hours ( my timing has improved ).  I saw her eyes fill with happiness though she had a bunch of things going on in her mind.  She was in Chennai as her father was unwell and came visiting, not a great situation to be in.

So, here is a peek into what I did for her on her birthday.

    1. After you said that, it looks like it for me too..

BTW, Anita's daughter who is as old as my son, asked me, Aunty, Dennu would not be wearing pearl necklaces, so whose chain did you snatch to make this one? Kid these days, are all like you Gils :-) :-) :-)

  2. Very nice. How much a card hand made as opposed to simply bought, means is beyond description.

What do you mean young "even" at 22 ?? She's a kiddo at that age :)

Your handwriting is as neat as the card itself !

    1. Agree 100% about hand made cards.

You are so generous with your compliments; thanks Ramesh.

Anita will be so damn happy for being called a kiddo... he he he. Thats not Anita's true age. if i reveal her true age, she will massacre me. but i can give a clue, she is almost as old as me.... :-) :-)

I can tell this for sure, she truly is a kid at heart. ;-)

  5. Quilling is really an easy stuff - the most important ingredient you need for quilling is patience. Initially it takes a lot of time. Happy Christmas to you and family Bins.

    1. Nikita is quite interested but has no clue how to go abt it. Some kid in her class does it and that has impressed her. I'm being very cautious. As it is, all the bits of clay is driving me crazy, add bits of paper to the list and watch me go raving mad;-/.

I'm not going to wish U for Christmas just yet....there's 9 days to go and u cd be putting up more posts right;-D
